Lee mentioned Lilium philippinense. Can anyone confirm that this species is in cultivation? Although I have seen plants labeled Lilium philippinense at lily shows, I'm pretty sure the plants I've seen are Lilium formosanum, not L. philippinense. That there would be confusion is not surprising: Lilium formosanum was long known as Lilium philippinense formosanum.
