Bloom on crested plants

Do these crested portions flower the same, more or less than non crested

(typical) forms?<<

Yes. :)

I've seen crested flowers, and I've seen perfectly normal flowers from
crested plants. Hmm...now that I type this...I can't recall seeing a
crested flower from a crested plant. Not saying that can't happen, but I
can't recall ever seeing that particular thing happen. Normal flowers
appear to be the rule. Anyone else?

Dear Friends,
I wonder if anyone has experience with bloom in crested plants. I
am thinking of crested cacti for Leo Martin, but any plant can crest at is
topmost growth or flower spike.

The Crested forms of Celosia seem to flower madly -maybe more than
typical.

Anyone have experience with bulbs, cacti or anything else to
compare with 'normal' bloom?

Thanks Jim
