Gelasine elongata

It didn't over-winter for me in Ohio. I don't remember it setting seed for
me either.

Dear PBSers,

Over the last couple of weeks I've had a few flowers on Gelasine
elongata that I grew from SIGNA seeds. The foliage is very odd and I recall
someone mentioned it is similar to a dwarf palm, but the 2 ft stem pops out
an occasional nice blue flower.

It is supposed to be hardy to Zone 7, but has anyone tried it in
colder climates - Zone 5-6? I am tempted to take it out of the pot and
into the ground.

Appreciate any experience in colder climates. Thanks Jim
