Judy Glattstein says "I was visiting a friend here in New Jersey today, and he showed me this dainty little gladiolus blooming in the open garden. He doesn't remember when they were planted but it had to have been some time ago. They've made a nice clump, many fans of leaves and several flower stems. It has been warm but the third week of May seems rather early. I am hoping that one of our members will know the identity of this small charmer". This one looks as Gladiolus italicus Roland 2013/6/10 Nhu Nguyen <xerantheum@gmail.com> > Hi everyone, > > Hans Joschko would like some help with a mystery Ornithogalum: > http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/… > > It's an interesting plant that appears to be a winter grower and > spring bloomer.
