Bulbine

Dear Friends,

At a semi-local nursery- Topeka, KS - I saw pots of Bulbine Athena compact orange and Athena compact Yellow. I thought most Bulbine were from S. Africa, but these had no info on species or origins.

Very cute. Does any one know more about these Athena series?

I did a bit of goggling and there may also be a white form, but this may another species.

They are not hardy in my Zone 5, alas, so I did not purchase any, but I am curious.
