Ipheion 'Alberto Castillo'
Bulbargence (Fri, 13 Apr 2007 09:01:09 PDT)
Jim,
They are still here, but they have to go next summer. I just had a look at
the patches with hundreds of bulbs of the sept 2005 sowings. Still in full
slower
Alberto Castillo: mostly true (with some interesting light bleu forms)
Chorlotte Bishop: only 25% is pink
Froyle Mill: 90% true
Impossible to select out the rogues. So I will sell them off this summer at
prices defying all competition (for naturalising) labeled with, as Kelly
suggested, "open pollenated" offspring.
Greetings

you raising them from
seed do not distribute them as 'Alberto Castillo'. Or is that horse already
out of the barn?
