Provided the weather cooperates and there's no snow, the Boston Public
Garden is always beautiful in the spring. The Arnold Arboretum, which is not
too far from the downtown area is also quite beautiful this time of the
year. Both locations have wonderful both formal and informal beds of many
types of bulbous plants and some look as if they've naturalized over the
years, particularly at the Arnold Arboretum. A few years back I was driving
by the there and I noticed an absolutely beautiful sea of blue. I had to
stop what it was. It turned out to be an incredible naturalized bed of
scilla siberica that was just a happy as could be and flowering in full
force. Boston is a fun city and I do hope you enjoy it.
