I just finished shooting a roll of film on a single bloom on a single stalk of Lilium formosanum v. pricei. I also covered the stigma with pollen in case moths and bees don't do their job. This is its third season in this new garden. Amazingly, it came through last winter (no snow) without supplemental water until April. I certainly hope it's as "weedy" as its reputation avows. - Barbara Weintraub Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA 6700' elevation
