Arnold asked " Where is the picture of the Welwitshia on your site."
You can see it in two places: towards the bottom of the home page
there is a small photo which is itself a link to the Welwitschia page.

Although I've asked a few people to take a look at this site, and I
mentioned it in an Alpine-L posting, I've never "officially" announced it on
this list. It's still very much under construction, and there are gaps here
and there. I've got a zillion images to post eventually.
Everyone is welcome to take a look - and I really do appreciate constructive
criticism. And don't worry about giving me a few compliments - all I have to
do to come back down to earth is to look at John Lonsdale's wonderful site.
