Cistus has only Pleione bulbocoides. Come on folks, I'm looking for the species that bloom later in the spring concurrently with Arethusa bulbosa and coincedently the seeds, growth habit, and blooming time of P. hookeriana resemble this member of the Arethusinaea the most.
Tony, there's no body in your message?

Does anyone know a good mail-order source in the USA for Pleione?
**I googled. Don't know if they're any good but Pleione was
carried
mail order by http://www.cistus.com/
Don't know if they still exist.

Cistus (your home for zonal denial) is still a going concern in
Portland OR.
Try Greig Warner at Burnt Bridge Creek Nursery in Vancouver, WA
for Pleione.
I had several unnamed selections from them growing in the ground
while I was
in the Willamette Valley. They did quite well in a sheltered
corner with
morning sun.
Merrill in Palo Alto, CA zone 9/10 where the ants are on their mating
flight today..
