Gladiolus dalenii sowing

Angelo,
I don't think that these seeds need to be sown immediately. I let the
capsules dry and sow the dry seeds in april. Germination takes place early
summer. The setting of seed is quite erratic in our climat. Only in very
sheltered places seed is produces here.
Greetings

in these days Gladiolus dalenii are splitting their seed pods and I am
collecting seeds. A bit of surprise indeed, as I didn't know it had winged
seeds. But even more because the seeds are green and fleshy, looking like
small bulbils. So, the question is: are these short living? do they need to be
sown immediately?
