Narcissus fly, just replant the remains of the bulb, The basal plate should
sprout quite happily if it is not too cold or wet. no need to cut it up any
more.

I cut into my bulb and found live caterpillars inside. What are they??
I never heard of anything in Ohio that would eat a Hippeastrum bulb from
the inside out. YUCK.

Does anyone know a good site that teaches how to rescue a partially
rotted Hippeastrum bulb?

I'm not sure if I should try to rescue the whole bulb, or chop it up into
smaller pieces.
