The Z. drummondii is now fading so no doubt selfed, but I used some of its pollen on a Rhodophiala flower. If it swells I will know it has done something regardless of the presence or otherwise of any seed. The other way round I would have to wait 3 years or so to see if the Rhodophiala had any effect on the Zephyranthes. If I get another opportunity this year I will try maybe after emasculating the flower first before it opens. Rhodophiala seed welcome if anyone has spares of known source. Brian Whyer, UK
