Calochortus pursuits

Thank you Kipp for the great Calochortus pictures. I think the term
referring to the anthocyanin-free C. tiburonensis flower is ananthocyanic.

As the PBS president recently pointed out, "We do our best to
represent the most accurate and up to date information according to
the literature....," I sincerely hope Robin knows the difference
between a flower and a bloom, especially since many Calochortus
species have both noteworthy blooms and flowers. It would be a real
shame to get the two needlessly mixed up in a publication.

I hope Kipp and Robin Hansen, the recently appointed Bulb Garden
editor, will turn this into an illustrated article for our
newsletter. To include plenty of photos, it could be published in installments.
