Thank you Kipp for the great Calochortus pictures. I think the term referring to the anthocyanin-free C. tiburonensis flower is ananthocyanic. As the PBS president recently pointed out, "We do our best to represent the most accurate and up to date information according to the literature....," I sincerely hope Robin knows the difference between a flower and a bloom, especially since many Calochortus species have both noteworthy blooms and flowers. It would be a real shame to get the two needlessly mixed up in a publication.
