Bulb Lawn

My friend Sandy Snyder in Littleton, Colorado planted a buffalo grass
lawn with bulbs. The low growing, low water need grass requires little
maintenance. The species tulips etc were cleverly planted in a spiral so
there were no "lines" to attract the eye. It has been many years but I
recall her saying that the tulips were thriving and bulking up in clumps.
