Mine is the lutea variety, sorry, I forgot to mention that. It is such a cheery bulb. And have been told they can be hard to get to flower, but have had no problems with that. And thanks Jim, I don't know anything about the triploid etc thing, but did think it could be something like that. So will wait to see what Ben has to add perhaps.
