I just went to the internet and searched 'Holden Clough' images The page in Russian noted that the cross was pseudacorus x foetidissima and showed a rather contrasty, dark, well-marked form from New Zealand and a couple of others which were muddy. I suspect (but don't know) that somebody made the same cross and doesn't know that not all of the same cross are named 'Holden Clough' since it looks like a possible sibling to the real thing. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Diane Whitehead" <voltaire@islandnet.com> To: "Pacific Bulb Society" <pbs@lists.ibiblio.org> Sent: Tuesday, May 25, 2010 1:06 PM Subject: Re: [pbs] Floral Treats - I pseudacorus hybrids > Wildwood Gardens shows a pageful of pictures of Iris pseudacorus > hybrids, so all at once one may compare Alley Oops, Holden Clough and > Krill. > > http://www.wildwoodgardens.net/pseudacorus.htm > > Diane > > > > > On 24-May-10, at 6:37 PM, Jane McGary wrote: > >> Jim Waddick wrote: >>> 5.
