Dear All,

It is with sadness that I tell you of the passing of longtime PBS member Pat
Bender of Lake Forest Park, WA. Pat was a frequent participant in the BX and
always included a friendly note with her order. I had the pleasure of
meeting her and her husband John last year in Portland. Pat was an active
member of a number of plant organizations, including NARGS. She will be
missed by many.
