Hi All: We have a new staff member in our Bulb Garden and I am attempting to resolve the mystery bulbs that she inherited from a former staff member whose paperwork left something to be desired. This mystery bulb appears to be Ornithogalum nutans but the flowers lack the broad green marking on the outside of the tepals. The leaves are broad, for an Ornithogalum and relatively flaccid. It has been growing in a partially shaded situation for a number of years. Are there forms of O. nutans that lack the broad green stripe on the outside of the petals?
