Proboscidea althaeifolia (Unicorn Plant/Devils claw)

Donnie.
I can't speak from experience with these plants, but I would recommend
filing a notch in a couple of seeds (as you would do, for example, to get
mooonflowers to germinate). You could then soak them overnight to see if
they swell, or you can plant them directly and hope for the best.

Subject: [pbs] Proboscidea althaeifolia (Unicorn Plant/Devils claw)

I have grown many of the Annual Proboscidea and was fortunate to collect
some seed of Perennial Proboscidea althaeifolia. I have already tried

about

10 seeds and after a month ive given up. I can germ Proboscidea

parviflora &

Proboscidea louisianica easily but not Proboscidea althaeifolia. Can

anyone

give me some advice?

Thanks,

Donnie
