Lovely. I have only heard a few spring peepers here, but the chorus frogs are out in full force. Crocus chrysanthus 'Dorothy' is blooming, along with a dark purple Crocus whose name I have lost. The 'Dorothy' were newly planted last autumn, but the purples are long-time residents of the garden. In the greenhouse, Gladiolus equitans is blooming: https://sweetgumandpines.wordpress.com/ (top post is the Gladiolus, second is the frogs) Regards, Nick Plummer in unusually warm North Carolina, where a few crinums are starting to show that they survived the unusually cold weather in January.
