I have been planting various Oxalis (in the picture obtusa and purpurea) along the sidewalk interspersed with ixia, Ipheon and dwarf Watsonia (humils). Most of the ixia I have removed as they flop onto the sidewalk. An exception is rapunculoides, but it's hard to separate from the others. The yellow flower is that unwelcome foreign invader that is so at home here....
