I don't know whether they can be scanned, because most are on glossy
stock. Also, they could not be used online because some of the
photographers could not be contacted for permission, and the prints are
no doubt museum images. I thought maybe someone could use them in
collages or plant display labels.

I was going through some old papers and came across a folder of glossy
photo proofs from when I edited the Rock Garden Quarterly. They're
high-quality images, mostly of bulbs and alpines, fairly large, and
there is also a bundle of Japanese plant painting prints (about 7x10
inches). If anyone has a project where these would be useful, let me
know and I'll send them to you.
