Friends - Just FYI. I grew Biarum tenuifolium for many years in my Kansas City Zone 5/6 outdoor rock bed. I live on the very northern side of the city. Although it reappeared regularly I never saw it flower. It might have as they can be tiny, but I never smellex one either. A cold winter killed my small colony. So it is possible and with even a bit more protection to grow this in the inner city or S. Kansas City these might prosper. Jim W. On the other hand the Stargazer lilies have been overpowering. Cow dung is good. After all I grew up with it. I'll have a bunch of B. davisii marmoratum to send too.
