The same is true regarding the sale of Clivia seed on Ebay. While there is excellent hybridizing of Clivia occurring in China, you'll be very disappointed if you buy blue, purple, or fuchsia flowering Clivia being offered on Ebay. The vendors selling the bogus seed are invariably from China. Ebay seems unconcerned about the fraud. I've contacted them about it to no avail. You'd think Ebay would want their customers to be comfortable buying through them, knowing that products being sold were legitimate. Not so. As always - it's Buyer Beware.
