It's /chaparral/ in California, /maquis/ or /macchia/ in Mediterranean
Italy where /Pistacis lentiscus/, Chios mastic, and other
drought-tolerant shrubs are found and /Narcissus tazetta/ is native. The
/fynbos/ of South Africa's Cape region is home to many, many of the
bulbs we are so passionate about.
