Thanks, Mary Gerritsen, for posting those images. I'm a newbie with Calochortus, but the few I've grown have me hooked. Some of them look a lot like frits at first glance, and something about the small dark red ones, especially Calochortus pringlei, remind me of the "chocolate cosmos". Hmmm...I wonder if I can make room for an expanded Calochortus collection beside the Fritillaria collection?
