Blooming in my garden

Dear Lee,
Congratulations on flowering your Paramongaia! The narcissus you
mention are far from flowering here in Central Texas yet, S. peruviana
has good leaves but no flower stalks. Oxalis is up, ipheion getting
ready, grape hyacinth poised to flower. Narcissus papyraceus, italicus,
and double and single Chinese Sacred Lily have finished - now the Twin
Sisters are beginning. Leucojum half up.

After reading Mary Sue's list I decided to survey my plants this past
weekend to see what was in bloom and report. At first I thought only a
few things were in flower but there were more than I expected. Here is
what is blooming right now at my house:
Paramongaia weberbaueri
Lachenalia bulbifera, aloides 'Pearsonii', aloides quadricolor,
aloides, mutabilis, "Yellow" bulbifera, splendida
Oxalis obtusa 'MV5005A', sp. 'Winter Blooming #1', purpurea, glabra,
regnelii 'Frances'
Scadoxus puniceus 'Magnificum'
Roman Hyacinth - blue
Gladiolus priorii
Narcissus bulbocodium monophyllus
Narcissus 'Avalanche of Gold', 'Campernelle', 'Erlicheer', 'St.
Keverne', 'Orange Frilled', 'Castanets'
Nothoscordum selloweianum, dialystemon, Ipheion sessile
Scilla peruvianum, greilhuberi
Calochortus 'Cupido'
Crocus tommasinianus 'Roseus'
Muscari macrocarpum
Phaedranassa chloracra
Pelargonium sidoides - black flowered
Cyrtanthus obrienii, brachyscyphus
Daphne odorata
Veltheimia bracteata - pink, 'Bicolour', and 'Lemon Flame'
Clivia x cyrtanthiflora
and very soon (I saw buds this morning) there will be Clivia miniata -
orange, 'Victorian Peach', and yellow,
as well as Tecophilaea cyanocrocus vars. pure blue, leitchtlinii, and
violacea.
Most of these are only just now opening their first blooms. The
Lachenalias and Oxalis have been in bloom a while and are the most
spectacular at this time.
