After heavy rain in California

Dear All,

After a (very busy) break in communicating with you I would like to come back
to you, maybe I missed some communication, please excuse me in that case.

Here in Germany we got some frightening pictures of heavy rainfall in the
Californian desert. It later came to my mind that after so much water the
desert should be blooming very beautifully afterwards. As there are so many
Californian members in the PBS I would like to know when approximately the
flowering period is to be expected. I am aware that it cannot be predicted to
the day and that there will be differences in such a big place like California.
It will also depend on altitude. It is a dream since childhood to see the
desert in bloom so if the time is suitable, I may come and have a look........
