invasive weeds (was Nothoscordum inodorum)

Dear Angelo,

In my backyard in College Station, Tx Zone 8b-9, A. neapolitanum is one
of the very few ornamental onions that can live and flower. And it does
so modestly - multiplying but not taking over! So there must truly be a
place for everything.

Speaking of Allium, I have Allium neapolitanum which is a terrible weed
in my backyard. I can't eradicate it, at it self sown from not far wild
populations. Anyone knows an effective herbicide that I could use on
it?
