I use Milorganite. Blood meal, a slaughterhouse waste product getting ever more costly, is a nitrogen fertilizer. Deer are so well fed in our gardens, here in the Garden State of New Jersey, that only the first year do does have a single fawn. After that, twins are common, even - occasionally - triplets.
