There are several references to Colchicum hungaricum Valentine on the Web. Some promptly expire after the first glorious bloom; some have been coming back year after year. I'm still experimenting with various cultivars I can get my hands on. Right now I have a wee little C. hungaricum 'Valentine' just coming in to bloom. I hope this one lasts!
