NJ has a bow season, shotgun with solid slug, a sabot, and black powder. We have a hunter who uses a black powder gun. He gets one or two deer off our property each year. We are gifted back strap, roast, etc. I still, almost every day, see a group of 5 deer on their peregrinations. But it is with pleasure that we eat delicious locavore free range venison.
