Interesting. And thank you for the update. James Wong (@Botanygeek) is a
Kew-trained botanist so I'm surprised that the image is incorrect. That
said, I keep up with the emails here to the best of my ability because of
what I learn.

a Hippeastrum, whereas xAmarine hybrids involve Amaryllis. I would think a
