Frankly, I think you would make a great addition to the board. You seem to
have the energy and drive to do things and willingness to follow through
against adversity. The board seems to mostly self-select 'nice guys' for
the sake of convenience but I would rather have this part of the discussion
take place in a board meeting than on the list.

leadership would be happy to let you post a zoom link on both the list
and the forum. If not, I can understand the board's unwillingness to
volunteer other peoples time. I am sure that their having volunteered
their own time makes them aware that any such volunteering has to come
from the individual doing the work.
