You're invited to a gathering and buffet dinner on the afternoon and
evening of Saturday, April 14, to meet Kit Strange, a botanist working with
the bulb collection at Kew. She is traveling on a NARGS speaking tour but
was not booked to talk in Portland, so this is an opportunity to hear about
her work in an informal way. If you live in the Portland/Vancouver metro
area or are in Portland for the HPSO "Hortlandia" plant sale, please
consider coming!

The party will be from about 4 pm to about 7 pm at the home of Jane
McGary, 4620 SE View Acres Road, Milwaukie, OR

tel. 503-786-2579. The address is a few blocks from McLoughlin Blvd (99E)
and can also be reached easily from I-205.

No need to bring anything unless you have specialized dietary
requirements. Please REPLY TO THIS EMAIL if you plan on attending so I'll
