Last summer the lone surviving plant of Crinum bulbocodium flowered and set seed. I thought this meant the bulb was settling in and I’d have crinums galore in years to come. I even gave away all the seeds. Ha. The joke is on me. This year, the bulb has vanished. I suspect that increasing wetness during winter was the culprit despite well drained soils.
