I have what I assume is Scadoxus multiflorus ssp. katherinae- bought as dried bulbs at a garden center many years ago. They have multiplied somewhat but never as much as I would like of course. They're potted in a 12in azalea pot which they have filled. In the fall when hard freezes are predicted(Nov-Dec) I simply take the pot in a frost free shed and forget about them- they bloom every year. Interestingly, a couple years ago, due to illness, I forgot to bring them out that year. I thought they would be dead for sure but I was wrong! Completely dry for over a whole year but when watered they soon took off and flowered like nothing had happened! Simply amazing. ----- Original Message ----- From: <pbs-request@lists.ibiblio.org> To: <pbs@lists.ibiblio.org> Sent: Wednesday, May 01, 2013 11:00 AM Subject: pbs Digest, Vol 124, Issue 1 > Send pbs mailing list submissions to > pbs@lists.ibiblio.org > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://www.pacificbulbsociety.org/list.php > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > pbs-request@lists.ibiblio.org > > You can reach the person managing the list at > pbs-owner@lists.ibiblio.org > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of pbs digest..." > > > List-Post:<mailto:pbs@lists.ibiblio.org > List-Archive:<http://www.pacificbulbsociety.org/list.php > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
