Fascinating, thanks for sharing. I used a similar treatment on some dicots
with root knot nematode: 55C for about 30 minutes. Only the base of the
plant and roots were immersed. It worked. I guess 55-56C is a general
benchmark for "borderline lethal" heat for plants?
