Hi Eric, I got Dactylorhiza praetermissa from Heronswood 6 years ago (not much hope of doing that now) but in any case it has proven easy to grow, given enough water and protection from the worst of the winter cold. I do that by locating it in a sunhouse that goes as low as 0oF (-18oC) when the outdoor temp drops to -10oF. It has never survived outside. It's a fine attractive orchid. Jim Jones Lexington, MA
