Southern Hemisphere Saffron Crocus bulb sources

It may be cheaper t o get the Crocus from a Dutch wholesale house. I recall buying a couple of hundred from the old Hoog and Dix firm five years ago and I think the price a was around .06 US per bulb or is it corm.
