Kudos to Robin Hansen, editor of the Bulb Garden, and author Molly Carney
for a great article on Camassia species in the Pacific Northwest. This
genus is one that I study (informally), tracking historic populations along
the coast, and also grow in my own garden. It was a pleasure to read about
current research and efforts to put this important food bulb back on plates
for indigenous peoples.
