Wonderful, Stephen! You have inspired me to try again. What soil mix did you sow your seeds in?

I’ve tried growing them with no success - 36 packets of seeds over the past 30 years which germinated but didn’t carry on growing.

The seeds are only occasionally offered now. The RHS-Lily Group used to offer a good selection, but not lately.
