Amaryllis belladonna is back around here. Drought led to zero flowering for three seasons. Some large clumps did not even produce leaves. Three days ago tall stems and pink flowers appeared on the scene. What a relief! I must add that only the clumps that received incidental watering in summer are in bloom so far. Summer water makes a big difference here. Those not getting incidental water will bloom later. Let’s enjoy them this year.
