Gesneriads and Portugal

Hi Uli,

I would very much like to hear how it goes in PT. I have recently started
assisting the botanic gardens in Blanes, Spain (Marimurtra), and knowing /
sharing results within our general climate zone would be very helpful. (And
while you are unpacking, I am packing up this week, to move into Barcelona)
:)

Dear all,

Thank you very much for your help both publicly on this list and privately
with my search for Kohleria amabilis and getting in touch with J.
Schofield. I have been a member of the Gesneriad Society for very many
years and have always been happy with this membership. Same as with the PBS
membership.
Having moved from northern Germany to Portugal recently, I am in the
process of learning gardening anew..... things are very different here, the
climate may be similar to California with summer heat and drought and a far
higher solar radiation than in the north of Europe.
I am still in the process of unpacking a lot of boxes but when I will have
settled here I would like to share my learning if that is of interest for
you.

Bye for today from pungent sunshine

Uli
