This information may be of interest: My family (Mom, Dad and I) lived on a farm near Gouda in the Cape Province, South Africa during the period from about 1949 to 1951. I was 10 when we left the farm. Koekmakrana then used to be found in the area of 33 deg 8\' 46\" S, 19 deg 2\' 46\" E. We recognized it from its unusual smell or the narrow spiral leaves (depending on the season). In \"Google Earth\" satellite photo\'s of 2005 to 2017, that entire area, which used to be virgin veld in 1950, is shown as having been under cultivation for some time. -- Pacific Bulb Society web site email: website@pacificbulbsociety.org _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/…
