I have had that happen every year in the past so this year i plunged the pot of Petronymphe decora in a deep fish box of sand kept damp. Especially when it is 100F. So i think it wilts when it is too hot and dry. They are about to bloom, hopefully pic is attached at the end below Rimmer Southern Kentucky Zone 6b (8 recently) > ERIKA SCHROEDERSECKER wrote: > > Hello all, > > This year is the first year I have a flower stalk on Petronymphe decora. I noticed today though that the top of the stem has gone limp which now means I won’t get to see the flowers. I’m miffed and sad. I do have this happen sometimes with Bessera ( closely allianced with Petronymphe) which I grow, but because there’s many blooms it goes relatively unnoticed. Does anyone have an idea why this may happen and its cause? _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/… Unsubscribe: <mailto:pbs-unsubscribe@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net>
