Greetings, I am a new member of this list and this is my first post. I live near Asheville in the mountains of western North Carolina (USA). I am hoping some of you can help me identify a Gladiolus my husband dug up from a ditch in an adjoining county. I have enclosed two photographs taken this week. I think this glad may be *G. oppositiflorus* or *G. ochroleucus* or perhaps something else altogether. Online photographs vary greatly. The glad in question is a salmon-pink. The base flower is approximatly 2.5 inches by 3 inches. Mature flower stalks are about 4.5 feet. Any help you can provide in identifying this beautiful glad will be gratefully appreciated.
