A forum member has asked for photos of Thalictrum tuberosum. The flowers are approximately 1 inch in diameter. The leaves are quite small and what leaves you're seeing are probably peony leaves. This plant is growing in what I'd call "high" shade - a good amount of light, but pretty much full shade.
