This Amaryllis belladonna is infected from Mosaic Virus. I watched the phaenomenon in a patch of several Amaryllis in a greenhouse - some of them were infected; the others, in their immediate proximity, were not - "conspicuously TOTALLY not" that is. The pattern repeated in the following years.
